ADMISSIONS OVERVIEW

Clairbourn School admits students of any race, color, religion, national or ethnic origin to the rights, privileges, programs and activities made available to students of the school. It does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national, or ethnic origin in the administration of its educational policies, admission policies, scholarship and loan programs, athletic and other school-administered programs.

Students will be considered based on their previous academic performance, placement test scores, writing samples, teacher references, interviews and, in the case of preschool through Kindergarten, their demonstrated maturity and school readiness. 

ECD AGE REQUIREMENTS FOR THE 2013-14 SCHOOL YEAR

For Junior Pre-Kindergarten, students must be 3 years old by September 1, 2013. 
For Pre-Kindergarten, students must be 4 years old by September 1, 2013.
For Kindergarten, students must be 5 years old by September 1, 2013.

APPLICATION DEADLINES

Application deadline for all grades: Friday, February 1, 2013*
*After February 1, late applications may be accepted on a
case-by-case basis if grade-level openings are available.

Admissions Notification Letters mailed: Friday, March 8, 2013

New Student Contracts due: Tuesday, March 18, 2013

New Families Reception: Tuesday, April 23, 2013 6:30-8:30pm

PLAY DAYS / TESTING DATES

Time and date to be assigned by Admissions Office.

ISEE exam for grades PS-8: Saturday, January 19, 2013

K Play Day: Saturday, January 26, 2013 or Saturday, February 23, 2013

PK- K Play Day: Saturday, February 23, 2013
