  • Fifth Grade Classroom Teacher

    Clairbourn School is hiring a full-time Fifth Grade Classroom Teacher. Contract to begin August 1, 2025. 

    Requirements and Qualifications:
    • BA/BS degree 
    • Teaching credential and/or Master’s degree preferred
    • Teaching experience of 3-5 years preferred
    • Test for tuberculosis not more than one year prior to or seven days after employment
    • Documentation of a Department of Justice criminal record clearance or exemption as required by law

  • Middle School English Teacher

    Clairbourn School, conveniently located in the San Gabriel Valley, is actively seeking an English teacher for sixth through eighth grade for the 2025-2026 school year. Appropriate candidates will feel comfortable teaching English grammar, vocabulary, writing in various styles, analysis of literature, and speaking and presentation skills in a literature-based program. Contract to begin August 1, 2025. Teachers report August 21, 2025 and have several orientation days prior.

  • Middle School Math Teacher

    Clairbourn School, conveniently located in an idyllic setting in the San Gabriel Valley, is actively seeking a math teacher for sixth through eighth-grade math for the 2025-2026 school year. Appropriate candidates will feel comfortable teaching 6th grade math through geometry and are preferably comfortable with algebra 2 for support of independent work. A working knowledge of Savvas enVision math is beneficial, as is experience working with students with emerging math skills, as well as those who move at an advanced pace. The position also requires teaching middle school math team practice sessions and facilitating online and local competitions, with significant flexibility in the subject matter.
