The Annual Fund is Clairbourn’s yearly giving campaign that helps advance Clairbourn’s mission and create opportunities for our students to engage in a meaningful, rigorous and well-rounded education.
Clairbourn School began with a gift from the Arthur K. Bourne family — San Marino residents who wanted an education for their daughter that aligned with their spiritual convictions. In the 1930s and 40s, as the country struggled through the Great Depression and later World War II, Clairbourn was kept alive by gifts from generous individuals. In fact, our current property on Huntington Drive was a gift to the school. Without the support of the previous generations, there would be no Clairbourn to support today.
