My educational/professional background:
Originating my teaching career in Chicago, I earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Idaho and taught second and fourth grades while concurrently managing a theatre company. This unique role allowed me to collaborate with artists and high schoolers on immersive plays. Upon relocating to Pasadena, I served as a first and second grade teacher and spearheaded elementary music and drama programs at an area independent school, leveraging my background in acting and arts education. I am excited to collaborate with Mrs. Gier as we team-teach the 5th graders.
I choose to teach at Clairbourn because:
Everyone I met was warm and welcoming and spoke highly of the school. Also, what a campus!
My favorite Clairbourn tradition is:
I'm excited to become part of the community and learn about the many traditions.
What brings me joy is:
I love movies, video games, writing, juggling, music, comedy and donuts.
