A Brain and a Heart
Clairbourn is academically competitive, and it focuses on social skills and citizenship creating a well-rounded educational environment. It not only gives our children a brain but also a heart which is important to us.
Foreign language classes like French, Latin, and Spanish are really fun and inspiring. The annual Christmas program, spring program, and talent shows provide a fun environment for students to work together and show off their talents. Programs from the library not only encourage reading but also creative writing in different forms. Daily chapel presentations provide golden opportunities for public speaking. My daughter published her first book in third grade and my son went from being totally quiet to becoming the designated speaker for Morning Assembly presentation in his class.
Identifying strengths and weaknesses of every student and using different methods for teaching them are the most valuable qualities of Clairbourn teachers. Sometimes, they know my kids better than me.
The incredible personal attention that my kids are getting from the school, ranging from the headmaster to the teaching assistants, really impresses me. We are all treated like family members at Clairbourn, and there are lots of opportunities to help out at school. That draws me closer to my kids knowing that they are in good hands!
