My educational/professional background:
I have an AA in Liberal Arts from MiraCosta College, and a Bachelors in Liberal Studies from Cal Poly Pomona.I have been working with children with all backgrounds of disabilities from the ages of 3-21 years of age. I've worked at Clairbourn since 2020 as a teaching assistant in Pre-Kindergarten.
I choose to teach at Clairbourn because:
I believe that children are the future of the world, and we can teach them to make the world a better place than we have.
My favorite Clairbourn tradition is:
My favorite tradition at Clairbourn is exploring the jungle and jumping into the big pile of Ginko leaves at the end of the year. I love seeing the smile on their faces and the pictures taken are so much fun for the parents to see as well. There's magic in those leaves!
What brings me joy is:
I find joy in seeing our students develop stronger independence as they begin to become more and more confident in themselves. I also love hiking, camping and being a dog mom to the greatest pup, Simba!
