Ms. Rebecca Berge

My educational/professional background:
I earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics & Accounting from Pitzer College and hold a clear California Multiple Subject teaching credential. Having worked in many different aspects of the accounting and business world, I have gained invaluable experience in audit, office management, financial reporting, tax and project management. I previously taught at Clairbourn as the middle school math teacher for three years and coached many different Cougar sports teams, loving every minute of it. 

I choose to work at Clairbourn because:
Clairbourn is one of my absolute favorite places. I was a student at Clairbourn from age 4 to 8th grade and this institution made me into the person I am today. I gained my core values of ethics, confidence, responsibility, compassion and integrity from my years at Clairbourn, which have all contributed to my successes personally, in education and in life. Working at Clairbourn again is like coming home and I am so grateful to be a part of the community that has given so much to me.

My favorite Clairbourn tradition is:
My favorite Clairbourn tradition is the opportunity provided to travel. Participating in a Clairbourn trip out of the country started my love for travel and exploring new places.

What brings me joy is:
My family and friends bring me the most joy. I also love playing and coaching volleyball, wakeboarding and traveling.
